Lauren C. Payne, MD, MS, FAAD

Dr. Lauren Payne is originally from Pickerington, Ohio. She went to Hampton University in Virginia followed by Georgia State University where she obtained a Master’s degree in Neurobiology and Behavior. She earned her Medical Doctorate from Morehouse School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency training at Howard University Hospital. She is currently Director of Teledermatology and an Attending Physician in Washington, DC at the VAMC. She is also Chairperson to the Board of Directors of Comprehensive Medical Mentoring Program (CMMP), a non-profit organization geared towards mentoring and providing support for minority students interested in pursuing careers in medicine and healthcare.
